Many people who add value to the ecosystem and are curious about Ethereum gathered in Istanbul this year. There were many talks and discussions on various topics for a week. Software and project developers, content creators, and students had the chance to connect.
As someone interested in understanding the ecosystem better, I got to meet different people and benefit from many talks in the main hall during Ethereum Day. I was most excited about Vitalik Buterin’s speech, but I missed it because it took me a long time to reach the venue as I was a tourist in Istanbul. Later, I watched this part through a live stream.
One of the talks I was curious about before the event was Turan Sert’s presentation on “ETH — UltraSound Money.” In this talk, Turan Sert discussed Ethereum’s token economy and how recent updates affected its supply. I also learned about solutions to Ethereum’s scalability issue, like Rollup and Zero-Knowledge Proofs, in sessions related to these technologies.
Ethereum Day exceeded all expectations in terms of productivity. Everything, from the designs to the atmosphere in the coworking area, was well-crafted.
Another event I enjoyed being a part of was Avalanche House in Feriye Palace. In this event, I had the pleasure of meeting different people and learning various information.
I sincerely thank the Ethereum Günü team and volunteers, who played a crucial role in bringing Devconnect to in Istanbul. ❤
